Dr. Vivian Kwan received her doctor of naturopathy from Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, is board certified and licensed to practice with the College of Naturopaths Ontario. She holds additional board designations in prescribing and to perform Intravenous vitamin therapies. She has advanced IV therapy training for anti-aging, adjunctive cancer care and mistletoe therapy. She is a member of the Institute of Functional member AFMCP, and practices evidence based medicine, functional diagnostics and enjoys spending quality time with her patients and sharing her knowledge as Docere (doctor as teacher). She received her undergraduate in Psychology and spent her early years as an esthetician and holds beauty and anti-aging in a special place.

Her passion for regenerative therapies stems from personal experience. As a person who suffered from chronic lyme disease, she experienced a variety of symptoms such as fibromyalgia like pain, joint deterioration, constant fatigue, insomnia, digestive issues, brain fog and other debilitating effects on the body on a physical and mental/emotional level, often described by patients as the sensation is feeling internally like a ā€œ100 year old person in a young bodyā€. As a result it led her down the path to heal/repair the mitochondria through different modalities, ā€œbiohackingā€ as she continued her training through International Lyme and Associated Disease Society, ILADs and Lyme Solution practitioner training with Dr. Darin Ingels ND, and is a Lyme Literate ND.

Along her journey to health Dr. Kwan was able to bring together all her unique knowledge, to eliminate environmental toxins, optimize nutrients, and truly harness the body’s unique ability to heal and come back to balance. Injection therapies are a large part of her practice because many of her patients come to her with a compromised digestive system and immune system and need the extra support in the beginning of their healing process, as she works together with them to build their foundations of health. She is also well versed in botanical medicines, traditional acupuncture, nutriceuticals, physical therapies and believes food is medicine.

Dr. Kwan can be found in her spare time: hanging out with her 3 kids, volunteering globally with Naturopaths Without Borders, or busy with board work as board chair, dragon boating, eating (love food), cuddling with her dogs.

She believes everyone has the potential to reach their own health goals, by identifying the root cause and addressing each patient individually as a whole.

Mona Zade holds an active license as a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD) in the State of Arizona. Currently relocating to Ontario and is in the process of completing her registration requirements with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

She grew up in Ontario before moving to Arizona, where she earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Sonoran University of Health Sciences. She went on to practice in Arizona for several years, gaining experience working with a diverse patient population and utilizing the full scope of naturopathic medicine. After several years away, Mona returned home to Ontario, bringing with her a depth of clinical experience and a strong passion for comprehensive, integrative care.

Mona takes a personalized, root-cause approach to medicine, recognizing that lasting health often requires looking beyond individual symptoms to understand the interconnected systems contributing to disease and illness. She enjoys integrating multiple individualized modalities to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient.

Her clinical interests span metabolic and hormone health, weight management, pain management, autoimmune conditions, aesthetics, hair loss, and overall wellness. She has a particular interest in understanding the relationships between hormones, metabolism, nutrition, inflammation, and lifestyle, and how these factors can influence energy, body composition, skin/hair health, recovery, and long-term vitality.

Dr. Mona believes that effective healthcare should be both evidence-informed and individualized. She takes the time to understand each patient’s unique history, goals, and health concerns, helping them connect the dots between their symptoms and the underlying factors that may be contributing to them. Dr. Mona strives to create a collaborative and supportive environment where patients feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in their care.
